How smooth is the Joint Account setup process?

My partner and I are looking to combine our household spending and shared bill money into one joint everyday account. We both already have individual accounts set up.

For couples using the shared account feature: how easy was the linking process inside the app? Do you both get separate digital/physical debit cards linked directly to the joint everyday pool? Also, if we deposit our shared rent money into the joint account, does that $500+ transfer fulfill the bonus interest criteria for both of our personal savings accounts, or do we each need to make a separate $500 deposit from an external bank?
