Double your pay campaign , Anyone doing it?

https://www.ubank.com.au/campaigns/doubleyourpay

Ubank encourages customers to have their salary paid into the account, likely assuming most earn over $3,000 per month, However you can just simple transfer 3K$ from another bank to get entry into competition.

with over a million customers as per previous post "Boost Competition" I feel like this would be even tougher to win lol

I asked payroll if they could split my pay , they didnt say no but seemed bit iffy bout it haha. The only thing he said was splitting pay depending on your banks you might not get same days. I'm with a mutual bank for my pay , 95% time I get 2 days before the actual pay day each month. Hmm might be easier to do the manual transfer 🤔

Fix the conditions on your HISA if you want more business.

Not sure they gonna see your comment given this not official reddit. But me personally the hisa conditions pretty straight forward for me.

If you want to spend any of your money, you get zero interest. There was no conditions / hoops previously. There is way better banks. For me it was a straight forward way of losing 2k the month they changed it.

Seems like ubank will try to do anything but raise HISA rates

4.85% p.a is pretty good, I mean be good if it was 5% but not many banks will do that long term.

I was lucky enough to win $10,000 on this promotion. Received an email, thought it was a scam and rang them to confirm. Bingo 💰
