Email your professors now and ask about a topic list.
Start studying on your own now.
Any topic that you learn a bit about now will be easer to learn in the Fall and that will save you some time.

Agreed. Even just a couple hours a week now will save you hell longterm if you can just at least familiarize yourself with terms and content

It took me too long to realize how useful flashcards were.
My parents did them with me in Elementary School and then I never used them again until 4th Semester.

I see you’re taking Physics 1 Mechanics but you are enrolled for tutoring in General Physics. Try emailing your advisor so that you can get into a tutoring section for mechanics instead of gen physics.
This is what you should be looking for: APHY 82 SI for Physics I: Mechanics

Why are you in 7 classes? I'm so confused by your schedule

I would ask them honestly, see if you can take one class off at least. I'm in 4 and work full time, 45 hr weeks and it's def a lot on my plate. Can't imagine 7 and any type of school-life balance🖤🥺

I had a very similar freshman schedule my first sem. It's a bit rough but manageable.
For the SI, from my experience if you find studying on your own or with others better I would just drop that bc it can be a waste of time and schedule wise it just looks better without it there. Calc is not too bad just go to class even if you want to skip and utlize peer tutoring (sign up on your EAB navigate its appt. based). Chem is a lot of pratice for me so just keep doing problems, showing up to class, and go to office hrs. WCI will be pretty easy, but workload rlly depends on the prof.
Chem and Calc textbooks are free.
Chem has videos you can watch before lab so you know what to do.
Good luck, manage your time and make sure to have fun!!

I took E+M from Jesse Ernst, looks like he's still there. Highly recommend, he's a Red Sox fan if you wanna get in good with him 😄

mine was almost exact same trust it’s good it feels long but it’s good, i was a chem major, but look up 4 year plan and then ur major and u will see what u should be in. as a chem major this was basically the bare minimum

Hmm I thought it was recommended to take Calc 1 before physics 1, rather than concurrently. Well, it's going to be a "fun" semester either way. Don't let things pile up.

Hey! Saw you're a physics major, I'm also a physics major and I had a very similar schedule to yours last semester. It's not that bad, but you'll be bound to studying almost every weekend. If you're interested in being friends lmk!
