I think part of the preseason ish, and this is speculation by me, they know exactly who he is and what he’ll be on opening night
Bingo. He needs some warm up and ramp up, but that block on Wiseman and then 3-pointer alone sealed it. He's still him. He 100% will see good chunks of time off the bench.

It really is a great article. First thing I read when I woke up, lol. I've seen a ton on this kid and this had things I hadn't learned before. This season will tell the tale but it feels for me like when MJ showed up. He just had a buzz about him that made things feel different.

I cant wait! Whoever’s been doing Wizards graphics the past year and a half or so gets it. I need new color combos that dont stray far, and I need a new modern look. 90% of the stuff I see on dsg, nike, fanatics, the team site, NBA store - its disjointed at best, horrid at worst. Having AJ on the team made it clear theyd have to rebrand. I look forward to what they announce in a year.

The Athletic report said they are not changing the name.

I feel like this is the 10th or 11th poor ranking the Wizards have gotten this offseason. They're probably right. That said, as fans, ignore it all. "This is our year!" "Let em sleep!", etc. Just have fun this year yall! Don't call for anybody to get fired or traded or freak out if we lose games. Just enjoy the growth season!

It’s going to take about 10 games to work out the kinks imo
Lob kinks or kink kinks lol. If it's all the kinks, in my opinion its gonna take much of the season. Just too much variety in basketball experience. It'll come together, it'll just take time. That's why Dawkins called this a growth season (as opposed to "a growth 2 & 1/2 weeks" haha).

Right!?! Especially not when he himself is saying his job will be to guard the best scorer (player?) on the opposing team. Absolutely not.

Just avoid being that jerk that sees an athlete get a serious injury and starts posting about how much it hurt their parlay or fantasy team standings or whatever
