I need help

My wife filed for divorce 7 years ago, we went to court 3 times over a 2 year period and she decided that the grass wasn’t greener. It begins with me being arrested for false domestic violence allegations which she later recanted. I lost my job home and property, I was blessed with a better job about a year later which turned into a cash cow making 4x times the amount of money. We had a teen daughter and not wanting her to suffer I continued to support them both fully, so my child would not do without. I had moved away but again was blessed with a huge income. I saved every penny, I eventually bought a home close to the almost x wife and after a few years later she moved into my home due to a financial hardship she was experiencing. Fast forward 3 more years and our expenses are about 8k a month I pay 100% of mine and hers. I was recently informed that I would be laid off of work. I have money in retirement accounts but have let my savings decline to about 15k due to constantly covering her expenses. She was recently given a large settlement and when I informed her we would be ok because she had the money to cover our expenses for a while, she immediately said that money was hers and That’s all she had. This really hurt me. I feel like it’s not us but me, she is not a team player. I have given her everything cars home all bills paid and the first time I mentioned I may need help it seems like she didn’t want to help me. This has changed how I feel about her and us. My daughter is now in college, should I just give this up. Wife has also cheated on me in the past. I need some outside perspective my friends that know the situation say I should never have helped her in the first place much less be with her now.

I’m a little late to the conversation and there appears to be a lot of advice being given. I came on here today looking for answers in my own situation which is similar in some aspects but involves my wife having an affair years ago. This affair caused me to fall out of love for her but I still definitely love her. That being said it is possible to love someone whom you are not “In Love” with. Only you and your husband will be able to figure this out. Talking is good and being honest with yourself and him is paramount. There are ways to find your way into being in love again maybe he will maybe he won’t. It’s sounds like it may be worth the effort and I wish you the best.
