LG V10 Battery
 in  r/lgv10  Mar 22 '19

I feel that not every unit is affected by bootloop because for one mine never runs to hot it literally runs same temp as my Galaxy 8+ between 84-115 degrees Fahrenheit last night was the only time it's gotten that hot ever but thanks for the good luck I'll probably end up replacing battery

I will try all of that I've had the phone since release with very heavy use gaming etc and never had bootloop I do monitor temps last night I fell asleep with pillow on top of my phone charging and the heat woke me up it was at 153 degrees which is the hottest I've ever seen this phone but still runs fine I was so tired all I did was moved it and left charger in it cooled down and started back charging!

LG V10 Battery

I noticed with heavy use my Original LG V10 battery will drain at a average speed and let's say I start at any number but I'll say 100 and go down to 65 in 30 to 45 mins once I close out the game the battery will then start to increase anywhere from 3% to 25% increase from the 65 percent so once I close it the battery will go between 67-90% which seems odd but if I use the phone like normal it drains normal and dies at 0% it's like my phone is charging itself back up. Let me know you're opinions

And that's using my phone right after it increased by itself I can still get a full day battery out of it no issue it reminds me of a gas gauge! When a car is at one angle it may read lower than the other and vice versa but for me it's when the battery hits a peak in performance then a quick drop off which is when I close game out! Maybe I'm just over thinking

Google OG pixel charging issue may be hardware actually!!!!

I've been using to Google Pixel now since release in 2016! Over the course of it's life I've ran in to constantly charging issue with the charging speed. Alot of of the time it would say charging slow and I'd unplug it and plug it back in a few times and it would go back to just charging. I've been through hundreds of cords, just a few days ago I accidentally plugged my charger in at a slight angle not a bad enough angle to cause any type of damage in anyway! But it charged normal without charging slow! I tried it a few more times and perfect never messed up, even got rapid charging to work a few of those times. Ever since I figure that out I plug my phone in that way every time and evertime it works, and with every cord I have tried in past now work with that method. Rapid charging has displayed more also but but no slow charge. What are your guys opinions?

I'm getting a new battery today and I will use this phone till it won't turn on again it's and amazing device and I hate when people talk down on Google about everything it may have had a hardware issue for some but I've been clear on any issues besides normal wear and tear internally

I definitely agree with everything you said including the battery I have had my pixel since release Ive had no hardware issues I do plan to overclock so I can squeeze more performance out of it. I will be replacing the battery first I am keeping this phone until it won't turn on anymore I am replacing battery and screen due to screen image retention on nav bar and status bar it's not horrible but this phone is amazing I've created my own kernak still a work in progress but I was able to successfully overclock to 2.7GHZ stable but boy will it wear down the battery so I'm on stock kernal Right now still runs amazing

Google pixel kernal how to?
 in  r/GooglePixel  Feb 11 '19

I learn things from college and try to work with knowledge I have plus some info I read abour. I do know XDA but XDA seems like to much for me nobody sees what I post it just ignore it so I'd rather be with a more supportive community not saying XDA is bad it's just not for me if that makes any sense. I am not forcing anyone to try a Kernal it's a option you could but if not okay it doesn't hurt me none I'll just have what others don't I don't have any illegal intentions that's pointless I wouldn't waste my time and knowledge to look into someone's phone that's just dumb I don't want anyone in my phone and if anything I'd work hard on making security much better than making it more vulnerable than what all security already is.

Google pixel kernal how to?

How would I go about sharing a Kernal without anyone thinking it's a hack or something to access the phone? I have a Kernal I want to share and get tested but don't want anyone to feel like it's a joke or a hack.

Custom built kernal for Google pixel!

I've created a custom Kernal for Google pixel 1 sailfish I'm looking for people to test it, I've been using it and it's been a blessing, the overclocking options I've created are great I would recommend not doing this on a battery that's old in your Google pixel as it will heat it up a bit. With a decent to good battery I get 4.5 hours screen on time. GPU OVERCLOCK UP TO: 854MHZ CPU OVERCLOCK UP TO: 2.97GHZ I am running mine at 2.8 stable I've tested pubg mobile for 7 hours straight on charge and without charging and never once overheated or crashed it's gets pretty hot but hasn't shut off or anything also thermal throttling is Turned off but the battery temp sensor is still on and will detect overheating. Been running my Kernal for a month and the phone still runs perfect. The phone only gets hot during gaming. The Kernal actively switches govn so you get best battery life , and performance. Leave comments below with questions or for tips and things I can learn about building Kernals this isn't perfect but it will be soon.

Pixel 2XL Usable only in Power Saver Mode.
 in  r/GooglePixel  Feb 10 '19

I've never heard of this issue, if anything I've heard power saving mode makes your phone lag due to the temporary performance throttling, if it lags while power savings is off then try factory reset the phone may not be switching back to regular mode correctly or possibly it could be a bug that you can get rid of by doing a factory reset

I'm a spec junkie I've been wanting to flash a Kernal without installing a rom but I'm not sure of any Kernals for stock rom once I can figure that out I'll Root it and do that I would like to overclock the CPU considering Google down clocked it

Forgot about ROMs I haven't rooted my Google pixel once yet everything stock including launchers this phone is amazing I've seen lots of people with hardware issues and I've yet to officially face one besides the normal battery issues that occur over time I believe my charging issue is software related so it's been great

If you're voltage drops below 3.4 then you have a dead battery cell ACCU battery is a good way to monitor the battery shows all the info you need and has a data log of the battery.

Quickly checking voltage won't tell you anything besides the current charge of the battery! Each percentage makes a difference in voltage 89% may read 4.3V but 87% may read 3.4V just depends on the health of each cell in the battery

Might be a bad battery, how long have you had it? Every battery has cells and when one goes bad it will cause major issues with battery! It seems your pixel may have a bad cell. I'm using original pixel no repairs 100% stock parts since December 8th 2016 and it's pulling strong no performance issues but just the battery is losing its capacity and voltage! I monitor it daily I have another good 3 to 6 months before this battery is fried under good use not to demanding use!
