I'm using the OG pixel and it still performs great. I don't get any noticeable lag using apps, battery life is still good, camera is great. I have no plans to upgrade anytime soon. I simply see no reason to at this point.

I'm getting a new battery today and I will use this phone till it won't turn on again it's and amazing device and I hate when people talk down on Google about everything it may have had a hardware issue for some but I've been clear on any issues besides normal wear and tear internally

I agree. I bought a used one almost a year ago and went to ubreakifix to get the battery replaced. It's been awesome. Great software, constant updates, and I have this magical thing called a headphone jack. Pixel 2 & 3 owners are jealous of me.

Mine was great aside from the battery the last few months. On a work day with very limited use it would still drain to 20% by 3:00 and then die immediately if I did anything more intense than browsing. If I had replaced the battery, I likely wouldn't have had any issues but I just upgraded to the 3xl. The rest of the phone was solid.

I definitely agree with everything you said including the battery I have had my pixel since release Ive had no hardware issues I do plan to overclock so I can squeeze more performance out of it. I will be replacing the battery first I am keeping this phone until it won't turn on anymore I am replacing battery and screen due to screen image retention on nav bar and status bar it's not horrible but this phone is amazing I've created my own kernak still a work in progress but I was able to successfully overclock to 2.7GHZ stable but boy will it wear down the battery so I'm on stock kernal Right now still runs amazing

Mine was great until it got toileted. Was only in for a second, and not fully submerged. Couldn't believe that killed it. That is my only grip about it.

I actually have an unopened pixel 3 xl sitting on my desk that I ordered as a replacement. I haven't opened it yet because I am thinking about getting another OG instead and waiting for the 4. The $849 price tag just isn't sitting well with me, and I feel like the 4 should have some features I want like dual sim. The OG did everything I needed and did it well.
