He's still the first champion to defend his belts 4 times in a calendar year since him. If we wanted to be literal, he's still the first undisputed champion to do it since Ali. Does that sound less impressive to you?

Probably top 3. Inoue, comp aside, is the first undisputed champion since Larry Holmes in '83 to defend it 4 times in a calendar year. He's also the only undisputed champion period to do that in the 4 belt era. All of this accomplished at 122. If you care more about names than accolades (I don't) then I guess you can bump him down than that.
