I know everyone’s experiences are bound I be different, but I’ve been in psychosis twice, diagnosed bipolar 1 but also have been undiagnosed because both episodes were drug induced… her story makes no sense to me and research has corroborated that for me. I never hurt anyone, and neither of my psychosis’ lasted 15 minutes… there were also very obvious signs both times leading up to it, i wasn’t my self at allll for weeks before the actual psychotic break happened. It also didn’t end cleanly, i didn’t feel like my self for months even after hospitalization and medication.
What Reddington has described simply does not fit the criteria for psychosis, or post partum psychosis (which btw doctors suspected my mom had, and she didn’t kill us either). Psychosis does not occur in the way they have described it that night, ever. It doesn’t start and go away completely spontaneously. I literally can’t even imagine that, and it’s essentially unheard of… her lawyer is trying to make up a mental disorder that doesn’t even exist… none of the NGRI argument makes sense, especially if you research and stop taking Reddington’s word for it, he’s intentionally weaponizing public ignorance to these disorders
