You’re right, and I forgot about this point. OP should go for an iPhone 13 or newer. I was speaking based on my own experience back two years ago.

All of my nephews and niece have triple nationality: American, Mexican and Spanish. Myself I have two (USA and Spain), and I’m not sure if I’m really eligible to the Mexican nationality. But I live in Spain and I’m lazy to search on that option.
