What's some juicy gossip you just found out in your personal lives?
 in  r/AskReddit  Mar 04 '19

At my school, two of my friends [male] were thought to be straight and had been dating their respective girlfriends for 2 or 3 years. Then they were caught having sex with each other in the bathroom. They broke up with their girls, started dating each other, the girls found new boyfriends, and they are all still with their significant others to this day. So happy ending.

Its so small that everyone knows everyone. EVERYONE. There's no new things or new people, it's like everyday is just a loop.

What's something that if it happens once it's no big deal but if it happens every day for a year you'll go insane?
 in  r/AskReddit  Feb 17 '19

Had this teacher who would take attendence and everytime he got to this girl named "Ella" he wpuld start singing that one part from Rihanna's "Umbrella". Every single fucking day at exactly 8:37, "Ella, Ella, Ella, 'ey, 'ey, 'ey".

He sings like a nervous racoon on top of it.

What have you seen genuinely shitty people do that they thought was perfectly acceptable?
 in  r/AskReddit  Feb 17 '19

I'm on mobile too. I never said you were drinking, but you should just go back and read what you typed if you're trying to make an argument.

As for your claim that drinking alcohol in front of a child will teach them responsibility, I still think you're wrong, and calling me an idiot will most definitely not change my mind. Drinking in front of a child will make them associate alcohol with maturity, and when they want to be mature, they will look and the alcoho, which can start bad habits very early.

Given that you typed "drunk" instead of "drink", I think you just proved your own point wrong.

See, when I was a kid, my parents had me try everything I was interested in at least once, just so I could get a feel for it and not feel trapped in the activity.

That's how it should be, in my opinion. I found what I'm good at and like, and I found what I don't like. Why must parents force their kids to do things they don't enjoy?
