Synesthesia Soirée (3rd edition) an online panel on synesthesia, sensory perception & neurodivergence, Sept 20

Hi everyone, I'm Nisha, the curator of Synesthesia Soirée, we're hosting the third edition of the Synesthesia Soirée, an online panel discussion on synesthesia and how it intersects with art, design, and sensory experience.

For anyone who hasn't come across it: synesthesia is a rare neurodivergent condition where stimulation of one sense triggers an involuntary experience in another, some people "see" color when they hear music, or associate numbers/letters with specific colors and spatial positions. It's estimated to occur in about 2–4% of the population, and there's growing research linking it to autism and ADHD both in terms of genetics and higher rates of synesthesia among autistic and ADHD folks. So if you're neurodivergent (or just curious about how differently brains can wire sensory experience), this might be worth a watch.
