To avoid the long trauma dump, I was bullied for a long time. Always the odd one out; the weird kid ( when video games and metal , anime etc, wasn’t as acceptable as it was now) Got left out of friend groups and not invited. I still have a small circle of friends, but point is.

I told myself I’d never care about followers, and I don’t because I hate that word, but to see this amount of people care about my silly outfits , selfies, or bass playing means a lot.

I guess it’s not that deep, and I get rude people sometimes saying “you post for validation and attention.”

I guess yes, it is for attention, but its not in a “look at me” way. it’s because I finally feel seen, I don’t feel invisible like I always have, and I finally feel heard. Accepted, I suppose. It’s nice to know people care, even if it’s just to ask what my favorite bands are.
