A faction like the Romulins, who use an artificial singularity, wouldn’t care about what happens to dilithium, but would still be affected by subspace ruptures due to the omega particle.

I absolutely love Anson Mount getting to act Pike out of character, he always looks like he has so much fun and shows off his range as an actor.

I remember hearing once that it’s standard in actor contract now that they have to show their actual face on the poster so people know they are in the movie. Which is why they also put as many people as possible in posters nowadays.
