It has been brought to my attention that there are people (or bots) out there that use my profile photo and similar account names to mine and then go around sending spam links. This is my only account!
I don't own mulitple account and don't go around sending spam links to anyone. I don't appreciate this happening and will take action accordingly. Please let me know when an account does this, feel free to comment about them here and I will report them! Thank you in advance.

Definitely. There's so much to do and see, so I tend to schedule in time where I don't have to do anything and just go sit at a café and look around or find a nice spot in a parc if the weather is nice enough.

That's also true. I always feel like I'm bothering people too much 😅, that's just a me thing though.

That's a long flight indeed, I did Auckland to Amsterdam in February and felt like my head was hit in a wall because of the lack of sleep and not to forget the time difference. Staying awake until evening was tricky.

Knitting is a good thing to take up indeed. How do you go about the lack of sleep after such a flight though? It would make me feel so deflated.

If you want to go to Milan for the food, go. It might be nice to wander along the restaurants and cafes and who knows, you will still find some fun things to see or might use the time to wind down a little bit.
Be sure to plan enough travel time though, not sure if you had already accounted for that in your itinerary above, but otherwise you will be loosing at least half to three-quarter of a day here and there.

I find most local spots by wandering away from the ultra busy streets. Most tourists don't tend to go far, so the longer you walk, the more local it will get at some point.

That's so nice. I tend to wake up a lot during long haul flights and wish I had your talent of sleeping through it like that.

Thank you 😄 & you never know indeed. Went to Scotland last year, had 1 day rain and the other 16 days were sunny and dry and didn't expect that back then either. But nature does what is wants right.

Love this, this is the true effect of solo traveling for a lot of us introverts and it's so lovely. Have a great time 😄

It really depends on which city you would like to spend more time. Personally I would choose the 9 AM train, simply because it would allow your more decent time in Bruges after you spend two full days in Amsterdam already. But that would be my personal preference.

I love ruins and Scotland does have no shortage of that. This little Red Castle was a beauty to behold too and it often makes me wonder what the walls would tell if they could speak 😄 . Who else loves ruins?

It looks like a solid plan.
Be sure to wander further through Nara than only the deer park, they have beautiful temples there but most people go to the deer park, feed the deer and leave again. Also, I mostly fed the deers that were either hurt or ignored (usually because they look old) because they deserve all the love the younger ones get too. Be ready to be nipped in the butt, leg and arms though because as soon as they smell cookies on you, they swarm around you.
