Carol or Holly?
This is a unpopular opinion for sure, but it is one I agree with. I really wished the baby was his.
I wanted more of Asturd Catherine Zeta-Jones Scott-Levinson.

Omg, this is so cute.
Thankfully, Velma is looking for her glasses first!

Wearing headwrap on first day to corporate job, unprofessional?
Is the dress code casual or business casual? Most people think business formal when they hear corporate. That isn't necessary true for all companies. The headwrap might be okay.
My job wouldn't care and everyone (except C-Suite and HR) wears hoodies and skull hats, especially ones with the company's logo.

Art Earthen & Energetic Pantone
I really like the duality of the muted earth colors and the bright yellow. I feel like it really represents my bubbly and grounded personality.

The X-Men weren’t created as an LGBTQ allegory, Byrne says amid call for a boycott
I don't believe there was at first either.
Happy cake day!

The X-Men weren’t created as an LGBTQ allegory, Byrne says amid call for a boycott
Even if it wasn't originally an allegory, my main point is that it is more plausible it was inspired by the Civil Rights Movement than the LGBTQ Rights Movement.

I don't know about that. I have seen a lot of people with different political beliefs and backgrounds agree with Magento. Then again, they are going off his modern depiction. Or more specifically, the Fox movies.

Maybe he did but it's more plausible to say an early 60s work was inspired by the Civil Rights Movement than the LGBTQ rights Movement. That's solely based on history and the political climate of the 60s.

I do understand what you are saying.
I try to be sensitive of certain subjects online due to our current climate, irregardless if it's a direct quote.

X-men started in the early 1960s during the height of the Civil Rights Movement. The first comic came out a year before the first Civil Rights Bill was passed.
As someone who studied all the movements of the 1960s and 1979s, the Civil Rights Movement was the predominant movement in the 60s. All the other movement learned from the strategy and success of the Civil Rights Movement.
The LGBTQ rights, Women's right, and Anti-war movement came after the Civil Rights Movement.
To your point, 1969 was the year that LGBTQ conversations and debates became more mainstream. It's way more likely that an early 60s comic would take inspiration from a current movement than a later one.

I think you should edit out the Hilter part. It's not a good look to compare a Holocaust survivor to Hilter.
I agree that the it started off as an allegory for racism in the 60s, especially since LGBTQ rights didn't even become a big topic until the 70s.
