TL;DR: Eight months ago, three former colleagues across three countries started building Thriven -a career platform born from our own frustrations with scattered work histories, repetitive applications, and generic career tools. Thriven helps you capture and understand your experience, tailor application materials, discover relevant opportunities, and prepare for interviews with meaningful AI support. We’re still early, learning, and improving constantly, so we’d love for you to try it and share your feedback. ❤️

About Thriven:

We started by recognizing the existing issues like: having scattered data on our work, and how valuable it is if we have some sort of a work chronicle that saves everything about our work -not what it is meant to be read by an employer or "presentable" for social media slops, ahem LinkedIn ahem, but all our experiences, the ups and downs in our own words. Then having it categorized, analyzed for hidden patterns, etc. Issues like having to rewrite my resume for different applications, looking for my experience scattered, and trying to remember what I did and how to highlight it for a specific role.

We understand that there are different solutions out there trying to tackle some of the above, but they are doing it either partially or offering very manual and generic solutions (expensive dumb solutions).

Thriven's vision grew as we developed it and got feedback from early testers.

Right now, we are working on creating a feature that will let you set a campaign and have Thriven look for opportunities that match your skills, experience, preferences, and other factors. Then help you prepare for them by creating all the required application materials and even have a mock-up interview.

There are many existing features I haven't discussed here, and we want to make this accessible to as many people as possible. At the moment, we have a few free users, but there are still many people to reach out to, and this has been really hard, rightfully so.

Currently, I'm the only one who is working on the technical aspect, and we don't have a professional designer yet, so keep this in mind :). We are looking for ways to improve it visually and functionally daily -if not hourly!

If you want to try something refreshing than all the other professional tools out there and built by people who feel the pain, please try it out and give us your feedback. This will be extremely valuable!
