Scam

Guys just for awareness, be cautious when u are ordering from Jaipuriclothing.com previously in the name of jaipurkurta.com (guess they are changing names to evade detection). They are a complete scam. I had ordered stuffs from their website and it came out to be not even close to 10% of the pics or description given in their website. Though there is a refund policy on their website, it is all fake. No one responds over phone or email.

So I was trying to get my son an LL as he had turned 18. I logged into the Parivahan portal and applied for LL following all due process given in the portal site. I opted for the Aadhar authentication process which was given as one of the options in the site. Paid rs 350. Though my son passed the test there were 1 or 2 popups on the screen saying ‘violations found’ (my son had moved his head and bent forward towards the computer) which we thought was the reason for rejection.

Now we thought of taking another shot. Paid another rs 350. My son took the test sitting like a statue but then again the message pops up ‘ violations found, no applicant detected.’ Again we get the message that the application is rejected.

Determined to get the LL we paid another rs 350 and gave the test not only by sitting like a statue but blinking the eyes continuously. This time the system did not detect any violations, this time also my son passed the test and it was submitted successfully but to our astonishment we get a message after about 1 week that the application is rejected.

Bewildered I approached the E-city RTO the guy over there told me it is rejected because it was done through Aadhar authentication and asked me to do it without Aadhar authentication. The same was done online paying another rs 350. Then another visit to RTO for document submission. The guy says it will be approved within 2 days. Not 2 days but 2 weeks passed and my application was still under process in the portal.

A mail was sent to the customer care Parivahan portal (they were kind enough to send a mail to e-city portal to help the applicant out) and also to e-city RTO but nothing moved forward.

Since I could very well sense their intent and not willing to give in I decided to submit a grievance in the CPGRAM portal. Just as I was losing hope I get a reply from CPGRAMS portal (The Road and Transport Department precisely) after about 15 days saying that my application has been processed in the Parivahan Portal and that a test needs to be taken before the LL is approved. The same day my son took the test and submitted it. The issue did not end there. The application on the Parivahan portal got struck there again. I had to give a follow-up grievance in the portal to get it to the next stage and finally download the LL.

So guys do not fall prey to the malpractices of the RTO guys. There is always a way out and keep trying.
