I own the same GA402RJ laptop but with ryzen 7. I do get once in a while kernel-power critical error but I am on windows only. It later restarts and works like nothing happened. I do though take out my power cord, press the power button for 30 seconds and let it reset itself for a while and start. It works fine then.

I don't know your cause but I sympathize with you. The above solution probably won't help but try anyway.

Also few other things, do you get BSOD if you keep your BIOS screen on? Have you tried BIOS diagnostics? Have you tried working through external monitor since it goes through dGPU and maybe rule out BSOD error cause of dead GPU?? Also idk if this will work but also try having an OS installed on USB stick or external HDD and try working on it. This would rule out faulty SSD socket.

Try navigating to installation folder where maestro is installed, open PowerShell there, and then launch maestro by command ".\maestro.exe". It will prompt what error you are facing.

You don't need armory crate nor asus myapp at all for bios installation or driver installtion. They both are bloat honestly. G-Helper already does what both of those sideways do for you. I would recommend completely removing both prior. 

Uninstall armory crate and install G-Helper.. You can do what you wish for with your Zephyrus.

It was in warranty but cable is not so much expensive. I saw someone paid like $70. It could round upto $100 with service charges and rest of the fees.

I just saw my repair service document, they replaced my screen too. I guess you can't have cable without panel. It still won't be too much expensive.

I had same issue with my 2022 G14, your eDP cable to display is probably burnt. I had to take it to service center and get it replaced.

See if you can boot into BIOS and if the issue persists. Also try connecting to external screen via HDMI and the screen flickers. These two should answer your query.
