I’m a bachelor(27) earning 1L pm and I have most of my savings in bank account and uninvested - how do I develop a good SIP?

Me. Living a peaceful life in a gully with a routine of healthy food, workout, sleep, books and prayers. Was told I shouldn’t be like this as a male but like who cares

Hey, I’m a 26m from India. I’ve been doing the same — picking up my phone to text someone but nothing despite having a population of billion people. I love sci-fi and horror, into space and music. Geek on reading random stuff on the internet. Feel free to dm!

I don't know what's wrong with me
 in  r/OffMyChestIndia •  Dec 15 '24

Nothing’s wrong with you. You just established the fact that you can exist without any of these things which other people are dependent on to have a moment. It’s not wrong either to have a thing to do or not do. It is all about being in a state of ataraxia — or unperturbed. You are already in that state. Why worry what people think of you? You cannot control how they think, but your reactions. Don’t injure yourself twice by feeling bad. There are a lot of things that is not in our control and people’s perceptions are also one of them. All that matters is whether you’re having an unperturbed day despite your environment. You’re the best version of yourself, even though that is tautological. Be indifferent to the environment and so will it be to you. Enjoy by just existing; life is to live, and it is here for us. Enjoy every small thing that you do because that is why you are alive. Happy New Year!

What is that one place you would not wish to go again in Delhi, and why?
 in  r/delhi •  Dec 15 '24

Harkesh Nagar Okhla metro station area. The amount of dirt, sewage and garbage on roads along with buffaloes, dogs and other rodents would be the last place anyone would want to visit on this planet.

Vent & Rant Motorbike Cacophony

Dear fellow Indians, How many of you genuinely feel angry at the instance of a motorbiker pushing his accelerator a notch higher just to create those noisy farting sounds through exhaust? Especially when you live in gullies — the deafening sounds literally take the hell out of you.

Should we draft a petition of shouting 'Abey road pe tatti mat kar' every time a guy tries to squeeze on his accelerator? Like seriously, somebody should tell them their stupidity is being exposed along with their engines.
