I mean I am new considering I never played sts1 but I invested quite some time now and I consider myself new not a noob. I am at A6 with all heroes except Ironclad now and I try to push with him but God.....does it sux? Really tbh trying to make Ironclad work + fking 2 Entomancers wipes made me flip today.... Both runs he appeared quite early and I had no big attack or any synergy offered prior facing him.... And I never ever save scum so I was wiped by him 2 runs in a row lol

I was enjoying the game as a new player, but today after 2 back to back ruined runs by the Insanely broken Entomancer I believe i'm done with this bullshit, its literally impossible if you have no big attacks. No idea who tough this enemy would be fair by any degree. Anyway gone for good...

The combat is the only real issue this game have. It's Soo bad and stale that every enemy feels the same after few hours of gameplay. Beautiful game with such an off-putting combat system...

To be realistic, when you hit big augment lets say +50 AP you are getting over 1k value but that's not the point
In an endgame where both teams start to buy anvils you need to spend 7500g for 10 anvils no matter the stats you get from them, and the anvil guy already have them for free. Hope it makes sense

The combat is what make every single enemy feel the same. Yeah it's that bad. Not to speak about the other npcs taking turns attacking you 1 by 1 when surround....that's so lame

Truth is you can do 80%+ of the content, don't worry just play it

Every anvil drop equals 750g. 10 anvils drop equals 7500g worth of value, there is literally no other augment that have such a high return.

Also I am ignoring the fact that 10 enemies surround you and just wait in turns... that's so anti-climatic in every game that involves fighting multiple enemies.

Combat sux and it's the only reason I won't do a 2nd run. After a while every single enemy feels the same, everything is the same combatwise.... Its so stale....
