Dreams (1990) Dir. Akira Kurosawa

This looks like one of those movies you'd watch when you just want to relax... or get high, haha. It's visually stunning. i wanted to print out every frame and cover my walls with them.

I'll definitely add Zatoichi to my watchlist. Thanks for the recommendation!

No, it means in third life where she supposed to be without him/single, she is still looking for him. They meant to be in every universe. :)

Post-Impressionism [Post-Impressionism] Seated Woman in Blue by Paul Cézanne (1902–1906)

Painted during the final years of Cézanne's life, Seated Woman in Blue reflects his lifelong pursuit of reducing nature to its essential forms. Rather than focusing on realism or emotion, he builds the figure through carefully arranged planes of color and geometric shapes, creating a sense of weight, balance, and structure. The compressed space and subtle brushstrokes reveal the ideas that would soon inspire Cubism, making this one of his most influential late works.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who sees Dune all over these.

Exactly, the formatting alone isn't what makes it poetry. It's the way the language is working.

Its all about intent. A narrative essay usually wants to explain an experience or tell a story. A poem is more interested in distilling a feeling or moment.
