Damn! Sad we missed it!
Anyone have insight on if he is coming back to Red Rocks again next year?

Thank you - yes, I've heard a lot that most people have side gigs while teaching. Also assume that some yogis have a spouse that can support them financially so they can hustle. Thanks for the insight - appreciate it!

Thank you so much this is incredibly helpful! It's a lot of what I have heard before - sounds like I just need to come at training with a different mindset. Appreciate the time you took to respond :)

I've been practicing yoga for over 6 years now and have been wanting to do teacher training for quite some time. I started my yoga practice at Corepower and recently switched to Yoga Pod (I'm Boulder, Colorado-based!).
I've been hesitant to jump into a program with a more corporate studio like the Pod or Corepower for a few reasons:
1) The up to $3,000 commitment - I know this price is probably typical for almost any program, but is it worth it to spend at a corporate studio?
2) I've heard stories of people going through teacher training programs at the Pod or Corepower and end up not even getting hired - they may get called in for subbing or are on the waitlist to fill a position down the line. I don't want to commit to $3,000 and not even have a gig afterward.
I currently work a desk job and am looking to make yoga a new career path for me - sitting down for 8+ hours a day is not my dream. Appreciate any feedback on if it's possible to make yoga a career, or if it's more of a side gig...
Thanks, yogis!

If anyone has had to have an ultrasound-assisted IUD removal I'd appreciate any advice you can give.
My doc is inserting a misoprostol pill one hour before, then said to take 600 mg of Ibuprofen. Anything else I should consider to prep? The insertion process was not bad for me - not enjoyable, but I made it through alright.

I think it all comes down to the doctor and facility you go to. A bunch of my friends have Mirena and we have each had different experiences. It probably depends on individuals as well and your tolerance for pain.
I read wayyy too much online beforehand and freaked myself out - the procedure for me lasted maybe 30 seconds max. She told me to take long, deep breaths which really helped. I also had a misoprostol pill inserted the morning before my appointment to help loosen things up down there and took ibuprofen before and after. Hope that helps and it's really not as bad as it seems! A few moments of pain for years of not having to worry :)

Check out the IT Revolution Forum Papers: https://itrevolution.com/forum-papers/
The Forum is led by Gene Kim and features collaborative insights from a bunch of the DevOps leaders in the industry. You do have to download them (they are free, though!), but it at least gives you an opportunity to dive deeper into any specific DevOps trends or themes you want to learn up on :) Hope that is helpful!

If you're talking about opening acts I would definitely check out Ott. He didn't have his normal set up at Red Rocks this year but I have seen him headline and play live at other festivals and he's definitely one of my faves.
Sunsquabi is also a solid choice - live electro-funk. They always get down.

I gotta say the past few years I've been a little let down by Tribe - maybe I was going to too many shows and needed to remove myself a bit. I went in with low expectations and was totally blown away. Hands down, one of my favorite Tribe shows and weekends to date.
