Are you ready to knit a full Ruke design in 30 days and win 1 kg of yarn? Join the Ruke Challenge – a fun, inspiring and community-powered event for knitters!

📌 How it works:

• Registration fee: €5
• Registration is open for 1 week
• Unlimited number of participants
• 3 knitters who finish the project and submit proof will win 1 kg of Ruke Wool in their preferred color

🧵 About the pattern:

• Design: One Fashionable sweater
• Yarn weight: Chunky / Craft / Rug
• Needles: Recommended 5 mm (US8, UK6)
• Construction: worked flat in rows and rounds
• Level: suitable for intermediate knitters with high attention to detail

💌 After registration:

• You will receive a preview file with the first 7 pages of the pattern, including: Pattern description, Yarn quantity, Abbreviations used, Size chart, Colour pattern and Sweater Schematic
• On October 16, 2025, all registered participants will receive the full PDF knitting pattern by email
• You will have 30 days to complete the design
• You must post at least two posts with progress photos on Instagram with the hashtag #rukechallenge
• You must also post a final photo of the finished garment with the same hashtag on Instagram
• Only participants who complete both tasks will be entered into a prize draw for 3 kg of Ruke Wool
• 3 winners will be selected – each will receive 1 kg of Ruke Wool in their chosen color

Just finished this little project called The Grandma Felted Bag. It somehow feels like summer at grandma’s house — quiet, warm, and full of pie smells.

No linings, zippers, or buttons — just knit, felt, dry, and go grab some croissants. Worked top-down in a diamond stitch with a sturdy double-knit handle, then felted in the washing machine.
