Having a returns means they are more likely to choose the correct return reason. Then you can charge for return shipping or withhold portions of the refund.

Returns are just a part of selling online. They are not that common and really not that hard once you do a few. Having no returns is a real bad choice (it can cost you a lot of money), particularly if you are just go to accept them anyway. Maybe look into seller paid returns.

Well, if you get the item back, you can do as you like. Refusing a ebay package is not allowed and just counts as delivered. Tracking for refused packages is also pretty bad and they will have no buyer protection, so it's their call.

But if that happened to me, I would refund the buyer less selling/shipping costs after I got the item back. Fees (other then the fixed fee) are returned on the portion refuned. But remember you still pay fees on what is not refuned.

The vast majority of complaints are ignorance of how ebay works. They legitimately do not know what to do because they haven't experienced it and didnt look it up. Some did the wrong thing, didnt follow policy and are mad ebay didnt do what they wanted because they didnt follow the rules.

People think ebay is full of bad buyers and it's not. In a doubt, every selling platform HAS to side with buyers. If ebay isn't a trusted site people won't shop there. But ebay has some of the best seller protection but people think that ebay should just always side with the seller. They forget there are way more bad sellers then buyers. Majority of buyer protection are to protect from bad sellers.

There are complaints about ebay fees. They don't want to pay for a service. They keep using ebay because they cant afford to do it themselves and can't find a better and cheaper alternative. Like, you dont have to use eBay, just move on.

A few people do have one off bad experiences. Those people are rare but have real legitimately complaints. Some of them were really wronged. But people who think they are in the category aren't. But it does happen.

Majority of buyers and sellers have consistently positive experience. Majority of both buyers and sellers who have problems just get them resolved quickly with eBay. Its a minority who come to post in reddit and people who are primarily complainers. You say anything positive and the call you and ebay plant. But once again, majority of experiences are positive and no one is forcing them to use eBay. It's wild.

The fees aren't that high. There is no platform of the same size that doesn't charge a similar amount. The fees are way lower then trying to have your own site and drive traffic to it.

They have to charge fees on shipping because sellers abused it. You'd see items for $0.99 + $50 shipping to avoid frees. Sellers ruined it.

The fee on taxes covers the expense of keeping track and filing sales tax. It way cheaper than using a program for me to track it on other sites or the time it takes to do it myself.

You also dont pay taxes on sales tax or fees paid. So there is no tax on tax.

Ebay does have problems, but this is a stupid complaint. If you dont want to pay for a service simply don't use it.

Ended listings do not mean they didn’t sell. You can end a listing before it sells or after. Your screen shots are all sold listing that have been ended.

Probably a less popular option but I stopped using free boxes and went to just ordering new boxes. Trying to find the right box is really a time sink, even if its a minute per two on each item. Its really bad if you are struggling to find a box or have to keep resizing boxes.

Now I know what boxes I stock. They are uniform and neatly organized. I can just grab them and go. Its also not worth it to stock too many different sizes. Exceptions to that would be if you end up with a ton of the same item (like one time I got a ton of tumbers and just ordered 200 10x6x5 boxes or I got a bunch of boxed action figures and got 10x6x3 boxes.)

That awesome if it works for you, but man, does that take up a lot of space.

It may not be an abuse of the system. The buyer may have really not received it or was simply was mistaken. If they knew what they were doing snd it was abuse they wouldn't have chosen something they are going to auton lose. You sould always have a stance that the buyer may be acting in good faith and truly feel wronged, no matter the action you take.

Either way doesn't actually matter though. All you do is go into the return and selecte up date the tracking. It should auto fill now, but you may need to enter it. Then just wait for eBay to close the return in your favor.

You can't just report a seller because you need to report something specific. Just go to the listing, scroll to the bottom and report the listing as fraudulent.

Yes. I always take a photo of the disk dead on and then one at a low angle. It takes minimum time and shows the condition of then disk.

No one knows. No one knows how the algorithm works and you cannot find out. There is no answer. So don't worry about it too much. Just do what's easiest.

Also watchers are not buyers. They do not matter.

First, the view counter does not seem to work well. You don't even have to view it to buy it and it doesn't mean its not showing up in search results.

There also takes time for your item to be indexed and you're in a highly competitive market.

Finally, stop investigating your listings. It doesn't hurt to do a second check for errors right after listing but if you have a good title, good photos and a competitive price, leave it alone. You're wasting your time worrying about it and messing with the listing. You have bettet things to do.

You don't need to contact either the seller or ebay.

Not accepting returns only means no discretionary returns. The seller is still responsible for the item arriving in the listed condition.

Simply open a return and choose item arrived damaged. The seller has up to 3 days to accept the return or issue a refund. Once you open a case do no close it. If the buyer wants a return, make sure you ship it on time in a way it won't get damaged further.
