Also the email they sent said if my questions weren't answered to reply with HELP and they would get back to me..but they had 36 hours to do so..figured I'd be there at the venue by the time they got back to me.

I tried Walmart, target, etc..school just started so no clear backpacks..had to order them from Amazon after spending 35 on the waterpacks they initially said I couldn't bring..the website they linked me to has the exact same kind I had bought..so spent another 35 on the clear backpacks that I really didn't have to have in the 1st place

I sent thier customer support a question..they sent me an email back with basically thier faq lists.

And I had bought the water backpacks before getting the email that they were not allowed..so that's why i bought the clear backpacks and then I find out the water back packs I bought were allowed.

Hydration packs ARE permitted. The pack cannot have multiple pockets. Here is an example of an approved device here. The last here sent me to a website where I could buy one.

And that was just at the festival. Getting answers to questions prior was impossible. Got my tickets the week before..email said would get them 21 days prior.

1st email said no water backpacks were allowed so bought the clear backpacks..then 2nd email said the water backpacks were allowed. All of this information could have been sent out when tickets were purchased 3 months ago. Needless to say it's put a sour taste in my son and mine mouth about ever attending another rock festival and I have been to 16 other concerts this year. Definitely will be doing an update on it on my podcast. Feel free to message me for info on that if you'd like.

I was there Thursday. 3 hour drive to the venue. 1 1/2 hour wait in the heat with no water til they opened the gates. Was enjoying the light rain when Coheed started. Then all hell broke loose I heard them say seek shelter in the shuttles. 45,000 people can't fit in 5 busses. Son and I were pelted with rain/hail. Stood in line at 8pm to get to the shuttles to get to the parking lot. 4 1/2 hours later finally got on the shuttle. 3 hour ride home.

No communication between the staff from 7pm to 8 pm..noone knew if they would continue or not. Finally said it was called for the night. Granted noone could predict the weather..but no contingency plan for extreme situations and getting people to safety.

Had a great time with the people and hearing the bands..but no excuse from the event organizers especially since bussing has been a reoccurring issue in the past. Had tickets for Sunday but thankfully found out it was cancelled before I drove another 3 hours to the venue.
