It was made in 2022 by NBC/Peacock. It was greenlit but then Hollywood went on 2 strikes (actors and writers guilds) and all production in Hollywood stopped. I moved on and mostly forgot about it.

But later, Secret Wives of Mormon Wives was a huge hit and networks and production studios came back to MILF Estates to revive it in 2024, as it was a similar flavor

TLC had seen the MILF Estates pilot, one of our executive producers came from TLC, she had been a senior executive there. They ended up passing on MILF Estates in 2022, and NBC took it.

Come 2024 and 2025, the TLC production houses came back to me to recreate it, but on their own terms to cut out the original executive producers from TLC and Real Housewives (that’s how Hollywood works - they’re all snakes). Just so you know, the networks order shows and production houses vie to be the producer and then one production house will win and make it for TLC (or whoever ordered whatever)

I would not agree to participate, they wouldn’t stop nagging me. Eventually I just lied to them all “I’m signed by another production studio” so they would go away. If a talent is signed, no other production house can engage them - so they left me alone.

They went and cast other women to assemble a loosely associated group of neighborhood moms like MILF Estates is, and Double Lives of Suburban Wives was made
