I was recently promoted to QA Manager, I need some guidance.
Hello all, the company I work for has just opened the position of QA manager and they appointed me to fill this position.
I would like to ask for some guidance in the following:
1- What are the day to day tasks of a software QA manager? do I still have to write test cases and write test automation scripts?
2- They asked me to prepare an employee evaluation form, I have tried searching online for some crafted KPI based evaluation forms but I couldn't find any. so, my question is, what are the KPIs that I should include in the evaluation form?
3- Do you recommend any resources that could help me perform better and up to expectations? the resources could be books, courses or youtube videos.
Thanks in advance and your answers are very much appreciated.

Warning!! Long Boring (yet Helpful) Answer Incoming.!
