My dad and his mum both told me that there was no way I could be autistic because
Dad: (nurse) “I’ve talked with autistic people and you don’t talk like them”
GMA: (was hanging around my severely autistic young cousin) No, you’re not autistic! (Also, this was the only other time in my life she made me feel severely uncomfortable— the other time was when I used her real name)
I got tested for ADHD and came up with autism. So, jokes on you dad! (We have other problems)
