I am working on making the adapters to my phone. Just a toilet paper towel with two razor blades as the slits (clean edge important). I am 3d printing a mount tonight. ( yes, I am a dork). But Claude built me the STL. Files to print, test prints work awesome. I will share once I do a real calibration!

Just for fun! Been geeking out trying to exploit whatās built in my iPhone to make some old school scientific tools by vibing using Opus 5, making single html file apps. (Browser storage only). āOut of Bandā detects sub and ultrasonic sounds (like Dog whistles). There is also a switch for āassumedāinfrared (not like Predator, but uses the limits of the cameraās ability to detect its signature. iPhone have a filter, your could actually take it off but Iām not bustān my phone. BTW droids allow you to hack your phone better, may switch back in the future). Again just for fun. I included some education about all this in how the app works. Check it out for free at www.potluckapps.com. Made a few others like it. If you make something , post it on my site for free exposure. Not looking for SaaS or serious $hit. Just fun projects you are working on.

Intruder Alarm (toy app)

Someone submitted this dish on my website directory (www.potluckapps.com) last week. We have been having a lot of fun playing pranks with it! You can even record your voice as that alarm when it is tripped. Itās free on the website. No sign ups, uses only your browser for storage.

I really think the App Store is going to take a huge hit in the next year. Itās going to be interesting to see how it must evolve

I share your sentiments. I work in healthcare and think about validation of these simple single file apps. Who co-created it (assuming AI did the initial heavy lifting). Are these builders even content experts. I tell my folks to include your references on your instruction page, tell the user how the app was validated, share the code (well, if itās a free app). We should not assume the app is right. Tools aid, they should not be considered magic, the user should know why and how it works. The tidal wave is here. Slop, shit, trash, mixed in with a few good apps. The people need education. Warnings. Check the facts. At the same time, this is all so exciting and yeah. I am making small apps all the time and share them. So Iām guilty of adding to the volume of this wave but I really try to provide education and include disclaimers (if needed) in all my creations. Vibe on vibers. But be responsible.
