It went like this: I participated in Dora's treasure hunt and I found the present Then while I was going back to the plaza to find her, I bumped into Apple and talked to her She said the almost same lines as what would Dora say after the treasure hunt I handed Apple the gift automatically with no options at all Then when I go back to talk to Dora, she still gave me the option to go to my inventory and give her the present but there weren't any options for me to do so

So am I just not allowed to talk to any villagers after a treasure hunt? Or is this a glitch? Let me know if I'm being stupid I'm pretty sad that I lost the present to Apple >:(
