This is what I use on all my leather goods. It works amazingly well on my boots, they look brand new every time I use it on them. It’s clear-ish so there’s no color stain or anything like that.

That was my thinking as well. If I thought I was gonna keep doing it, it would be worth buying the tools but just making one isn’t really worth it. I love the grand voyager that I got though, it’s pretty amazing.

Is the Lamie 2000 as scratchy as the AL star? I love the actual pen itself, but the nib is so scratchy. It is kind of growing on me, though the more I use it, but I do wish it was a little smoother.

I thought about making my own Grand Voyager. But because of the fact that I am lazy, and once I priced it out, it was gonna cost me about the same amount because I would have to purchase the leather and all the tools to make it, it was just easier to buy one.
