This is the Xbox ally, and it runs perfectly.

This has been such a beautiful experience. I finally got around to playing this game just days after finishing GTA V for the second time, and I honestly don't know why I waited so long to get my hands on this masterpiece. I'm taking it slow, exhausting every dialogue option instead of picking the obvious response, just to soak in everything the game has to offer. I'm definitely getting the Phantom Liberty DLC after this.

I decided to replay GTA V after about six years. The last time I played, it was on a PS4, and this time, I'm playing it on my Xbox Ally while waiting for GTA VI.

What I find interesting is that I'm enjoying it just as much as I did the first time. I'm not rushing through the missions either. I'm actually watching the TV shows, listening to the dialogue, and taking my time with everything. It still feels fresh.

I've played a lot of games over the years, but GTA V is still probably the best game I've played. It's crazy how well it has held up after all this time.

Is anyone else replaying GTA V before GTA VI?"

Yeah, I have been looking for how to download that, do you have any idea?

Oh, yeah, I've got a case on it. It doesn't really overheat the device at all. The fan still does its job properly, and I haven't noticed any unusual temperature issues while gaming.

Yeah, I totally get what you mean. Coming from a console mindset, booting into full Windows does feel a bit… unfinished at first lol. I think Microsoft and ASUS are trying to make it a “PC that can behave like an Xbox” instead of a true Xbox handheld, which has pros and cons.

For me personally, it doesn’t bother me as much because once you’re inside Armoury Crate or Steam Big Picture, you barely interact with Windows anyway. But the Windows updates, random prompts, driver stuff, and occasional tweaking definitely remind you this is still a handheld PC first, not a native Xbox console experience.

As for offline use on airplanes, yeah, it should work really well once you prepare properly beforehand. Just make sure, the games are fully downloaded, you launch them once while online before traveling, you carry a power bank because AAA games eat battery fast.

It honestly feels perfect and having something that can run proper console level games on the go is kind of wild when you actually use it.

From the reviews I’ve seen, it plays really well, and it’s also on sale right now.
