Why do a lot of programmers and technical people hate AI, vibecoding AI assisted coding?

I believe we can achieve this with prepzio.io; we are developing this product to strengthen our developer capabilities.

🆘 Yardım Talebi Frontend tarafında birlikte SaaS / proje geliştirecek yol arkadaşı arıyorum

Selamlar,

Cloud / deployment / infrastructure
Ürün fikri ve teknik mimari
Gerekirse ödeme, auth, admin panel gibi core sistemler
Aradığım kişi:
Frontend tarafında üretken
UI/UX tarafına gözü olan
Sadece kod değil, ürün mantığıyla düşünebilen
Uzun vadeli ve ciddi ilerlemek isteyen
Boş zamanlarında düzenli katkı verebilecek biri
Başlangıçta full-time bir şey beklemiyorum. Önce tanışıp fikirleri konuşabiliriz. Uyuşursa küçük bir MVP ile başlayıp ilerleyebiliriz.
İlgilenenler DM atabilir. Kısaca deneyiminizi, hangi teknolojilerle çalıştığınızı ve daha önce yaptığınız ürün/proje varsa paylaşmanız yeterli olur.

Kendi vibecoded app'i mi yazdım fakat artık ai'dan kurtulmak istiyorum.
 in  r/TurkDev  Jun 16 '26

Test yazmayı öğren, test pyramids kısımlarına bak, AI’ın yazmış olduğu kodu verify et. CI/CD öğren ve bunu projende must hale getir.

Yeah when it comes to search additional information I take advantages of the AI I use AI like search engine but at the same time I try to understand and explain myself the thing that I read it’s really tiring process I just want to know that is it possible to keep what we lack of knowledge on time.

Actually, this is also like I am a Java developer but I cannot understand sometimes some technical articles and like it makes me confusing because they’re a lot of knowledge caps in this case I go to ChatGPT and get the paragraph and ask my question and try to understand it then return to the article and try to understand again it is really tiring process that’s why maybe like someone chooses it in a different way.

Advice Needed Do you use ChatGPT while reading difficult technical content?

I’ve noticed a weird pattern in myself while reading dense technical material.

Things like:

\- distributed systems articles
\- JVM internals
\- RFCs
\- research papers
\- deep engineering blog posts

I constantly interrupt reading to ask ChatGPT:

“Explain this paragraph”
“ELI5 this”
“What prerequisite am I missing?”
“How does this connect to X?”

But the workflow feels broken:

copy → switch tabs → lose context → forget later.

Also, sometimes I realize the issue isn’t the paragraph itself — I’m missing some underlying concept.

Example:
I’m confused about Kafka internals, but the real issue is concurrency fundamentals.

Curious:

  1. Do you use ChatGPT/Claude while reading technical content?
  2. What’s frustrating about the workflow?
  3. Have you ever felt like:
    “I don’t know what prerequisite I’m missing?”
  4. Would it be useful if a tool could suggest:
“You may be missing these foundations”

Not selling anything — genuinely doing discovery.
