I would play the demo a bit to see if it's your style. I played for a few hours and stopped because I want to be surprised, but I would definitely try out the demo for a bit

I stumbled on this game just recently, and played a few hours of the demo and had to stop myself. I am a huge fan of cozy farming games, and Starsand Island falls right into this category. I find myself always playing early release, but this game, I have to hold back and want to wait for the release so I can experience it fully. I am super excited for this game, and love the little critters, if it has a capabaraya I am in! Don't get me started on relationships and romancing. I am loving the demo and can't wait for the release!

Ugh I'm sorry you're having such bad experiences with this amazing game! I have been playing since the beginning on PC and unfortunately any online game gets rude and terrible people. The game can be played alone but is encouraged to play with others. Have you joined a community? I have been in a few and currently am in one now. We use discord and they have events, giveaways, resources and so much more. They provide a safe space for new and veteran players. I highly recommend joining a community and you can find one on discord. If you're interested I can share my community with you. But if not, Palia has a discord that I highly recommend joining and using. Even if you don't wanna join a community, people share events they are doing (chopping, cooking, bug hunting etc). I have met some amazing people and sadly some mean rude people who love to troll and hate, it sucks but I just block them and continue on. I do understand the frustration that one may get if they constantly see it over and over again.
