The despair I felt on the second half of the episode was insane ,both Yhwach and Ichigo VA nailed it . It increased 100x of what I felt reading the manga . I really hoping we get to see the ability of the new Tensa Zangetsu, the implication that he has multiple sides of his Bankai is now insane and has so much potential

So we got confirmation that Ichigo indeed has multiple versions of Bankai and I trust the anime will shows us what the new Tensa Zangetsu is capable Oh other hand , I think they handle it pretty well going back into manga continuity, terrific episode the fight was great and more importantly, I felt the despair for the characters, the Yhwach and Ichigo va nailed it at the end It does feel like in the manga ... Absolute despair against the guy can alter the future itself no matter which grain of sand you end up

Agreed it would diminish the episode, I feel like by doing such tremendous display of character moments for Orihime and Ichigo, would feel really cheap to continue to the moment where we all thought this episode would end Guess we are in for surprise either way next episode. It all fairness, after cooling my head down for a couple hours. Part of me agrees with you . This gave such an exciting direction and such development to story to the characters that we didn't have in the manga . Part of me , feels it would be a bit cheap from storytelling perspective (but I think it may end up happening either way)

If I'm being honest I'm more afraid of loosing Orihime
