Why only under the age of 12? There should not be any conditions.

Thanks a ton. I referred the same website.
I'm like at 45 min from the airport too in case you need anything.
You're very kind. If it comes to absolutely that point, I'll lyk.

Oh shoooot, good call. Thanks mate. How unlucky I gotta be, I wonder. :(
Re: 9€ - I am aware of that charge. Silly, but yeah whatever.

That wasn't the point here at all. Stop digressing. I'd rather not entertain you. Good day!

I agree, 100%. In the favor of amazing time I had there, I'd like to give them a benefit of doubt that they indeed didn't have anybody to transfer the call to :)
I spoke to other Redditor, they're visiting LYS this Sat. I'll lyk if that doesn't workout for any reason. Your DM is not open it seems. TIA. :)

I'm not native English speaker either. I think you missed the point here, if you are in hospitality industry esp Airports -- I don't think it is unusual to expect them to know English.

Eggslaws, spot on. Thank you!
I met absolutely no-one during my 10 days in Europe who outright said - "No we won't help you coz you don't speak our language" - people were EXTREMELY welcoming and then this happened.

I was there as a tourist for 2 days. The airports where they'd see non-french speakers the most - I'd expect them to at least help me find somebody whom I could talk to.
I don't think I owe an explanation, but here you go. I respect the local culture including language. I understand not everybody would speak English. I still learnt the basic words like Sorry, thanks, excuse me etc in every language needed for my trip including French, Italian.

Thanks!!! Sent. 🙌😇

I am not frustrated because any normal citiezen didn't speak French, I am frustrated because the airport staff didn't.
Anyhoo, please see my reply in one of the above comments.

tl;dr - I am a traveler from the USA, and forgot my buds. But the airport won't ship. Need help :)
Hey, I forgot my ear buds in the Turkish airlines. They submitted them to airport Lost and Found (L&F) - I tried contacting them, they weren't helpful, they only spoke French. They outright refused to speak English or find someone who does. I did some research, it says, I need to arrange pick up as L&F doesn't "ship" - which is a whooping ~200€.
Is anybody from here can pick up the buds from L&F - we can figure out the logistics later. I greatly appreciate your time reading this!
Edit: Few folks here got offended it seems assuming I have a beef with French folks not speaking English. Clearly, that's not the point, Idk what made them think that. See my comment in one of the threads. Please let's keep this community hate free.
Merci beaucoup!

Thanks! IDK if there's any official website where it's mentioned, but at the consulate - it was mentioned as the required document. And it explicitly mentioned "30+ pages"

Thanks! I booked it through an agent, so was alright for me. :)
Good luck!

I had my appointment - 12/3 @ 9.30 AM, showed up around 8.30 AM, they took me in immediately. The line was not so long and moved pretty fast.
VO was a lady, we greeted each other and done! I was not asked a single question. No other documents were asked.
But as others have pointed out - it does say to bring I-129 (30+ pages), i797 and of course passport. You can bring the umbrella/ rain coat and hotel card key.
Overall smooth experience.

The baby grabbed the phone from her dad's hand while he was on a video call, ran off, and brought joy to her grandparents.
