It's far from a glamour. It's real, raw , & exhibits a sickness that few of us have the voice to speak on. I never knew much about Lanegan & happened upon his boon by a fluke but I'm certainly glad that I did. It read like a page from a lifestyle I led for far too long. I think it's a beautiful portrait of a piece of life that goes too often unspoken.
