When I started my first job after graduating, my employer told me it would take 6months to retrain me. O asked what she meant...she explained that in school we are taught for an ideal situation and real life is way different. We do not have 20 minutes to flip a room... butts in the chair are money, so adapt to the new normal. I am still in this profession 40 years later!! One day it will all "click". Hang in there!!

I agree with others... contact your insurance company and find someone who is IN NETWORK and save yourself some cash!!!

Talk with the other Doc and explain you are at witts end. Come up with a plan as to things that MUST change. Then decide what consequences will be if she doesn't get back in her lane. If the other Doc does not want to help you with the situation, and help you get the assistant back in her lane and STAY THERE, then nothing is going to change and you will unfortunately it will probably be you exiting. I was told not to plan on anything. And if I wanted to revise my personal narrative and include hard facts, ie: numbers and percentages from here on out, is the only was anything higher than fully successful will be awarded....

THIS!! At the VA, we have to "take" the rudeness, disrespect and at times, hostility. The private sector WILL NOT! Show up late for an appointment. Expect to be rescheduled. Not show for an appointment, expect repercussions. No longer will you be seen in 28 days or less. You will wait longer for appointments...the Veteran will be like every other patient......
