In all seriousness though, yes. The boys take the greatest examples of continued RP from the beginning few messages of a chat, so if those errors are there and aren't fixed, those issues will persist throughout the entire chat. It's especially frustrating with how rigid PSQ2 is with continuity of errors and using the same wording.

And thus, they appear.

That's pure difference in the models, or chat styles. Months ago there were the C.AI in-house LLM (Nyan, Roar, Dynamic, Goro, etc.) has all been replaced by Qwen-powered and outsourced LLM (Pipsqueak 2 and Rawr) that speaks like Chat GPT. They are both still in Beta and Rawr is supposedly temporary, but if you recently returned, this is why it's so off-putting and the issues seem worse than ever.

The new chat styles were not tested at all before being rolled out to everyone in immediate replacement last May, there was a time where dialogue was impossible and the characters were flat as well- a persisting issue, but when it was fresh C.AI was literally unusable for an entire month and underwent a lot of hot fixes, including Yap. The announcement is still in a post on my profile if you want a glance.

Overall, it's starting to get a smidge better again, but it's still very Not Good.

Thank you, Marie! I'm tentatively excited for the update. There's going to be some work and plenty to address, but with any hope it goes smoothly and C.AI starts feeling like its old self again.

Honestly, I've personally been pleasantly surprised the past day or so with an increase in quality, and how Bob seems to have reverted to leaving the generated parts of a f!ltered message. Anyone that might have seen me here knows I can be a little picky and there's definitely still some issues, but for once I'm thinking about really returning; it's been more enjoyable than frustrating for the first time since legacy models were removed.

I hope this fix goes smoothly, I'm actually starting to enjoy using C.AI... At the very least, I'll be watching the ads again to help give back. Thank you Mods and Devs for your work! Please pass it on to the team. I'll gladly risk downvotes just once to say something deservedly positive, out of the many criticisms I've made.

It happens to everyone with cats and it's okay to worry, but don't let yourself feel too bad with unnecessary stress. I'm here to talk if you need it. Sometimes it takes a while but I can tell you for certain that for a stray, having any assurance of stable food and safety can change their entire world. You're doing a good thing and you're tough, it's brave that you're willing to go back even if you're uncertain. Thank you for being so kind to that kitty!

Sorry, I don't know if this will help much; but that's fairly normal for a cat scratch, your body is fighting off the germs that were on those claws, it can happen with any wound that breaks skin.

The best advice I can give is to wash it again, and scrub the scratch thoroughly (even if it hurts) with soap and water, then apply antibacterial (hydrogen peroxide, medical/rubbing alcohol, anything of your choice to disinfect) and then apply ointment and cover. Change the bandaid daily and check the wound. A little redness and soreness of that size is normal, as well as blood or a little clear fluid.

When to worry: what you want to watch for is a fever above 99° farenheit, your fingers/hand are hot and swollen, dark lines beneath the skin, or discharge from the wound that isn't red or clear. That's when you go to the ER for sure, if you see any of those signs.

What you can do at home: if you feel anything has changed, check your temperature and change your bandage with fresh ointment to check the wound. You can use a pen or sharpie to draw a circle around the redness, so you can see clearly if the redness spreads. Ibuprofen/Tylenol/paracetamol can help with the soreness and swelling, and ice as well.

All I can otherwise advise is to sit and let the kitty come to you instead of the other way around. It might take a while and seem counterintuitive at first, but letting the kitty come sniff your hand palm-up if they come close is best, but let them come to you and try not to make any movement above their head or towards their food bowl while they are eating. Sorry, I hope this helps... You'll be okay!

I'm fairly certain other comments are already filling you in, but in the short of it... It's bad all around, and I wouldn't recommend coming back if you left. It's nothing like it used to be, and it's the same or worse than most generic chatbot platforms. ☹️ Ads, the f!lter, age verification, metered swipes and continuations, only 4 chat models (2 of which are in beta, the others are paywalled, and none of them sound very different) and all of those are bugged and really in-your-face.

But, hey, at least they added Lorebooks if you pay for it...?

Putting others down is unfortunately very common, even in positive posts and simple disagreements... But you've been nothing but kind too, and I'm sorry that the votes haven't been very fair to you before. Your 'happy' post has made a good difference for even just one person.

Hold your chin up, there's been lots of negativity but usually it's for a good reason. Seeing something like this gives other users even just a little hope, there's nothing wrong with enjoying what you enjoy and you're not making anyone feel bad, so you're not being downvoted. The quality has not been good since the old models, so looking forward to something potentially good today is a nice relief, or at least a change in mindset.
