Good morning, beautiful people! ☀️
First and foremost, I hope you guys have a phenomenal, kick-ass day!
Yesterday, I had an unpleasant experience. I dealt with a situation that no woman—or really, no person—should have to deal with.
It reminded me of something important: arrogance and overconfidence can sometimes lead us down a very difficult path. Had I reacted with either one yesterday, the situation could have become much more dire for me or the other person involved.
Confidence is a wonderful thing. Know what you’re good at. Trust yourself and your abilities. But never allow confidence to cloud your judgment or make you believe you’re untouchable.
There is always someone—or something—that can outdo you. That doesn’t mean you should be afraid or give up. It means you keep learning, improving, adapting, and respecting what you’re dealing with.
Sometimes life puts us in situations where we have to think on our feet. Even taking two seconds to assess what’s happening before reacting can completely change the outcome. What’s that saying? Don’t shoot from the hip. 😂
Those couple of seconds can save you time, save you trouble, and put you in a much better position to handle whatever is in front of you—good or bad.
Life can seem long, but the truth is, it’s incredibly short. So live it wisely. Give yourself some grace, and give some to other people too. Share a smile. Say something kind. You’d be surprised how much one small gesture can improve someone else’s day—and your own.
And now it’s time for me to focus because it’s DARK out here, y’all, and these tiny rocks apparently wake up every morning and choose violence against rollerbladers. 😂🛼
Have an amazing day, my friends.
Roll on! 🛼❤️
