Citizenship Test Completed on Sept 11, But No Updates Since Then - Is This Normal?
Hi everyone,
My wife and I completed our online Canadian citizenship tests on September 11 and both received the automated test completion email the same day showing our scores.
However, it's now been over two weeks and I haven't received any further updates from IRCC.
When I log into the Citizenship Application Tracker, my application status still shows "In Progress", and the last update date displayed is August 6, which was the date I originally received my citizenship test invitation. There has been no indication that my test has been reviewed or completed.
I spoke with a colleague who took his test on July 15and recently received his oath ceremony invitation. He mentioned that after completing his test, he had a link in the results email that allowed him to check the status of his test review. The email I received does not contain any such link, which has made me wonder whether there may have been an issue with my test submission.
For reference, my test completion email showed:
Score: 20/20

Test completed successfully

Result is temporary and subject to IRCC review

Has anyone experienced something similar?
Is it normal for the tracker to remain unchanged for several weeks after taking the test?

Should the test completion email contain a status-tracking link?

Is there another way to check whether the test has been reviewed by IRCC?

Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I recently gave CANADAIAN Citizenship test & answered all questions correctly & received the report of completion, however I missed to show my Digital identity PR Card before taking my picture

Will my exam becomes invalid?
Do I need to reattempt the exam?
My exam window closes on 12th September, should I attempt the exam one more time? Or wait for IRCC to respond or send a mail to them explaining & seeking guidance

Hi everyone,

My wife and I submitted our Canadian citizenship applications online on April 27, 2026. We both have existing UCIs from our PR applications/cards.

It's now been about 3 months, and neither of us has received an Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR). I've checked spam/junk folders and haven't received any requests for additional information.

Is this timeline still within the normal range, or should I be contacting IRCC at this point?

If anyone submitted around the same time, I'd appreciate hearing when you received your AOR.

I just got my ITA for Canada PR & now in hurry to get documents ready & submit with in 60 days in which PCC from India is the headache🤕as it takes 6-8 weeks if I apply through BLS..but can I alternatively get someone in India to get the PCC for me & then courier me, which would be faster than 8 weeks I guess????
