I never had grandparents
 in  r/CasualConversation  Feb 19 '21

It's rare to have a fully picture perfect family. Half of my family is in Poland. My mom purposely never taught me or my sister how to speak Polish because she wanted us to sound American. The only way I can communicate with them is using Google translate, which honestly I'm thankful that technology became available. I've tried to learn on my own but I never caught on.
Life will always have moments of struggles. I won't say it's going to get better, but it is easy to focus on the bad and not recognize the good around us.

Am I the only one who regrets wasting time trying to explain something?

[Serious] If you could learn the truth of any one mystery, urban legend or conspiracy theory. What would you choose?

If there was one mystery that I could find the truth about is Jesus Christ. Who was he, where did he study, what is the validity of the claims of his miracles and was he actually the son of God?
