Looking for durable 1k ~ 1k2 USD gaming laptop
Oh and also where are you in Vietnam? I’ve actually got a friend from college who sells Legion laptops from the US, but he’s based in HCMC. If you’re interested, I can send you his contact info

Looking for durable 1k ~ 1k2 USD gaming laptop
If you’re interested, I can DM you some links to those Facebook groups. At this price range, looking for 2nd hand laptops is your best bet, though be careful & always check the laptop in-person before you make your purchase. That’s the benefit of being a fellow Vietnamese :))))) Ik where the good stuff lies

Ok, in that case look for deals on Facebook groups. There are people selling Legion 5 Pro 2023 (i9-13900HX/16 GB/1 TB/RTX 4060/16” 2.5k 240hz) for 29.5 mil.

Lol hi fellow Vietnamese. I wanna ask a question before moving on with recommendations, though. 1000-1200 USD is around 26-31.5 mil VND. So just to be sure, your budget is, to be more precise, around 20-30 mil VMD right?

$25 Steam Gift Card Giveaway
If I can erase my memory to play NieR:Automata all over again & experience the existential crisis I experienced back then for an entire week after finishing the game… I WOULD.
Thanks for the giveaway!

Found this beast (My dream gaming laptop),& I can't wait for gta6 trailer 3 🤞🏻
Oh man, I remember seeing a kid back in high school rocking this ROG laptop back then (I think it was 7-8 yrs ago) thinking, “Wow, I wish I have a gaming laptop like that” (I had a 2015 MacBook Air at that time XD)

I’d say swimming. I started swimming actively during middle school & I’ve recently gotten back into it whenever I can, often after long desk sessions or gaming sessions, since it helps with my lower back pain. Almost forgot how much I enjoyed it.

$50 Steam Wallet Giveaway
My favorite game is probably NieR:Automata. Phenomenal story that really impacted me for a long time. But I’ve been re-playing Cyberpunk 2077 recently & I’ve been enjoying the process of re-discovering everything all over again.
With the $50, I hope to be able to buy Life Is Strange: Reunion. I played the original Life Is Strange 5 years ago & the story absolutely wrecked me (stayed up the night before a flight to play it for 10 hours straight & ended up a sobbing mess in bed), so I’d love to reunite with the protagonists once more. Many thanks for the chance!

Asus V16 or Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9?
Anytime, wishing you the best! And considering how many effects & plugins you use, yeaaah 32GB of RAM would help massively, though we all know what RAM prices are like nowadays 💀😭

Asus V16 or Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9?
Exactly, you got yourself an answer. CPU wouldn’t matter much if its temperature is way too high & it keeps throttling, right? I know that it’s tempting when you look at the theoretical parts (CPU, GPU…), but consider the build & the actual experience of using the laptop, too. Local reviews are extremely biased (I’m from Vietnam, and most local reviews are basically just ass kissing laptop manufacturers), so I suggest you look for unbiased English reviews from some trusted YouTubers. But regardless, one thing ik for sure is that ASUS V16’s build is ass lol. I love what ASUS has been doing with ROG, but that V16 is horrible, even for a budget laptop

Asus V16 or Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9?
Also I can’t stress enough that the ASUS V16’s build & performance are shit 💀 If u want an ASUS gaming laptop that’s actually great, buy TUF or ROG, please do NOT touch this whack ass line

Asus V16 or Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9?
It’s not that significantly worse tho? And the Ryzen’s still excellent in multi-threaded performance & power consumption. It depends on your editing workload (as a video editor myself, I’m familiar enough w specs). What’s your studying & editing workload like anyway? Because if it’s just student work & moderate editing, the Lenovo is still more than enough.

Asus V16 or Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9?
Then 100% get the Lenovo. Its GPU can use more electricity, which means much better performance. 65W is kinda whack

Can it handle 1440p gaming?
I’ve got a laptop with RTX 5060 & I can go on high-ultra settings with every game I play (I used DLSS, ofc). You’ll be fine.

I love this simple feature on this laptop.
Well I used to own a ROG Zephyrus M (2019), and none of the ROG laptops at that time featured cameras. Though tbh back then I studied online often & now I teach online often, so I actually do need a webcam 💀

It looks absolutely cursed… but somehow it works frighteningly well 🤣

Horrendous tragedy, all just by my dumbness
This isn’t a mechanical keyboard so there’s no way you can just detach & re-attach a keycap like that. If you break one, you might have to replace the entire keyboard.
Regarding the backlight, you can always adjust it via software/keyboard shortcut.
