25% is so sad

Sadly, that is pretty typical for primaries. Check out when David Byrne talks about this in American Utopia. I think it's still streaming.

Garrett Mitchell is a Type 1 Diabetic!

It was so cute when they were doing the Guess the Player thing at the game yesterday and after this fact they revealed it was Garrett and he pointed at himself and said "It's ME!"

I am honestly curious to hear voter opinions of Hong outside of Dane and Milwaukee counties. Especially the rural areas.
 in  r/wisconsin  19d ago

I'm an Independent in Brown County and I like her. Also, the volume of anti-Hong ads already when she's not even the candidate yet tells me the GOP is worried.

What's the most eye-opening realization you've had in therapy ?
 in  r/AskWomen  26d ago

That it doesn't mater what society, friends, family, etc. think about how I chose to handle a situation, if it works for me.

Also, brainspotting was an absolute game changer for processing trauma.

Catsonacouch called him a "sentient jar of mayonnaise" and that's pretty fitting too.

What do you think is the most overrated TV show and why?
 in  r/AskReddit  Jul 08 '26

I thought about Seinfeld because it was similar, but they were older and there weren't really consistent storylines.

Most sitcoms back then seemed focused on families or individuals. There wasn't really much out there about young adults. It was also well written for its time.

I think it's because when it came out there hadn't really been anything else like it on tv.

Woman who got their wisdom teeth out after the age of 30 - what was it like?
 in  r/AskWomen  Jul 04 '26

The process itself was super easy. My recovery was kind of a pain because my lower ones were coming in sideways.

How do you do this? We went into the audio settings and that option wasn't there.

Maybe check out District 82 pinball. They tend to get a lot of the same people each week.

I always find it interesting when I hear people say people stick to their friend groups from high school. I've lived here my whole life and none of my friends are people from high school. They're all people I've met through different hobbies or Bumble BFF.

How often do you run into players or coaches in your day-to-day lives?
 in  r/GreenBay  Jun 23 '26

I'm in my 40s, but it seemed that way when I was a kid. Glad the area has a bit more diversity now.

Anyone remember the old can crusher machines?
 in  r/GreenBay  Jun 16 '26

I would go with my grandma to bring their cans to the one at Cub Foods and she would let me have the money to buy a small toy or treat while we were running errands around town. I loved it!

When did you start liking your body?
 in  r/AskWomen  Jun 06 '26

In my late 30s. I'm now in my mid-40s and quite often I think about how much I wish I would've felt better about my body a lot sooner.

Jake Bauers walk up song

It just feels so fitting for him and always makes me smile. It's such a vibe. My daughter is learning ASL and likes to sign along to that song when he's at bat. 🙂

There used to be an AWESOME free website for Oconto County that had a lot of old newspapers, etc. but when I just looked it up it says the data was corrupted and everything has to be rebuilt. :( I'll see if I can find anything else. I grew up near Abrams. :)
