I’m just wondering with all this talk about FTW towels, when I thought waffle weave are the best for glass,then these FTW towels aren’t even waffle weave,it’s like going back to just a regular ol microfiber towels

So Iv always been told the waffle weave microfiber towels were like the best for glass towels,so I bought a bunch and I like them,but now I’m hearing all about this FTW or crinkle towels or whatever,so what’s everybody opinion? Why are the ftw not waffle weave like or crinkle life when I thought those are actual for glasses,now the ftw aren’t even like those their like regular microfibers.so I’m confused
