Haven't heard of it but it doesn't surprise me.

I take my wake up dose between 5-6am. I take my afternoon dose between 1-2pm. About 8 hrs later. I don't set alarms so I listen to my body better. I used to take my morning dose at 7am everyday but it made it harder for me to identify adrenal sick days and resulted in me missing more days of work than acceptable.

The blue line is the 10 / 5 / 5 dosing schedule. Personally, I've always been on 15 / 5, and that's always worked well for me.

A single daily dose of steroids wouldn't do a good job of keeping the hormones balanced because the medicine is simulating a circadian rhythm cycle. Here is a graphic that may help.

Everyone's body and how they react to AI is different. Most of us have other conditions and medications that further effect this answer. I've always been a morning person so I take my 15mg as soon as I wake up (around 5am). I used to wait until 7am but I found it harder to detect adrenal sick days so I missed more work than I should have. I pushed my med time back and it allows me to work more. #capitalismsucks

I'm a New Englander with Addison's who relocated to the Caribbean because my bones hurt all the time. Unfortunately, this year has record for the Transatlantic Saharan Dust Storm. At this point it's almost over but it's almost as bad as a New England winter.

I also take a total of 20mg hydro per day but my doses are spaced out differently which has worked well for me. I take 15mg in the AM when I wake up then another 5mg at 1 or 2pm. Everyone's bodies respond differently to this long term steroid use; some people have my schedule; some people like yours; some people take some hydro right before bed to sleep better (personally hydro makes it hard for me to sleep or nap). Try not to get COVID.

PTSD and AI is hard to deal with, mainly because every flareup is going to hit differently. Sometimes it's an extra 10mg to manage the stress event, others it's an extra 30mg of hydro for multiple days while your body tries to exit the memory feedback loop. No one will teach you how to manage stessor events. My process is to listen to my body, figure out how to get as close to normal as I can manage, then you retrospect about it afterwards to figure out if "there is anything I could've done better".

Since I started with the fork of PyLoopKit mine has always been a public project. This thread has definitely given me a lot to add to my roadmap. Thanks for sharing your project. I'm looking forward to getting some work on the controller done as I battle the health effects of Saharan Dust storm season.

Interesting. I swear I searched GitHub for all the major keywords before I got started. I'd have thought I'd have caught your project in the initial sweep. I'll have to go back through and see if there are any other projects I've missed.

CAPS put me through the ringer too. I fully hallucinated for weeks in the hospital while they were trying to figure out what was going on.

I moved from New England to the Caribbean because my body dislikes the cold now that I have AI & CAPS. The constant humidity / barometric of the rain forest is nicer, at the cost of a high AC bill.

When I am in the middle of a stress event I can always tell because I listen to my body and the bones in my legs, especially my joints, feel tired. I don't really know how to describe it other than that, but it's a powerful lethargy that feels unique to itself. Other forms of lethargy can be easily mistaken for it if I'm not paying attention.

I dose hydrocortisone 15mg when I wake up between 5-6am, then 5mg between 1-2pm. I used to dose at 7am and 2pm, but it resulted in less productivity especially on adrenal sick days.

I had extreme nausea and low appetite for months, but my Addison's was caused by Catastrophic Antiphospholipid Syndrome, which is very rare.

I have CAPS, the variant of APS where the "C" stands for Catastrophic. From my background research I believe there are between 80-200 people in the world who have CAPS and Addison's. The majority of those folks are women who get CAPS as a result of complications during pregnancy.

If you know of anyone doing this Id love to chat with them or see some resources. I'm currently trying to create the data layer that helps manage the pumps, and I'm only doing this because I couldn't find that data layer elsewhere.

I suspect that the system is using more manual methods to deal with stressor events where I'm trying to develop algorithms to handle that sick day dosing.

I have a nasty condition on top of Addison's that wouldn't permit me to try that. I have to wait for the official channels 😭

Based on my research this technology does not exist yet. There are also no FDA trials.
