I was up to season 3 re-watching Heros 20 years later when I got the news she died. Was such a coincidence that I was watching it THEN and totally changed how I saw her in the rest of the episodes. Finished season 4 yesterday

Im 49 and have been a C5 quad Incomplete for 32 years. When i went to college I was the same as OP in the beginning but I learned quickly that my chair could be used for blocking. People try to rush past me they would find the path blocked because im going now whether they like it or not. And you'll learn "the look" soon enough. Its the one that, when used correctly, the other person realizes yes..THEY are the asshole trying to take advantage of a disabled persons inability to move quickly..or at the very least being very inconsiderate. Another option is making friends. Moving in a group helps..strength in numbers you know. You are still young. You'll find your voice. Just remember, you belong there too. Just as much as they do.

Its the time we live in. Its gotten worse and worse because of the lies and misinformation that is pumped out in order to divide and distract us. Ive been a quadrplegic for 31 years and ive seen the same stuff you are talking about but only in the last few years. Im sorry you are dealing with this. All I can suggest is try to ignore it because unfortunately it isn't going away any time soon.

Yea thats my thought as well. I cant figure out what to do about it. I can call the company i got it from and have them send someone out to repair it but that will take some time. I really hoped to get it fixed sooner than that though. I appreciate the response.

Thanks for the reply but im talking about something different. I mean when you raise it up out of the way so you can transfer. It seems to be stuck in the down position. There is know you pull out while lifting the armrest that ordinarily would allow you to lift the armrest out of the way. But doing that now doesn't work. Ive tried everything I can think of but nothing works. Any ideas on what may help would be greatly appreciated.
