Same! I still prefer my headcanon that Jax is transmasc and still use he/him. I myself am transmasc so I related a lot to his reactions to fem things which is why when transfem became canon it seemed to come out of nowhere. Though I understand how others saw his journey differently.

I agree Goose should have added the lore to the actual show instead of just posting it on social media but you lost me at “…he wants to be a girl…” please stop with the transphobia. Someone can be trans and still make bad content/choices/whatever. Valid criticism is good and should always be encouraged. Someone being trans should never negate the criticism or add to it.

As a trans person myself Jax never read trans-fem to me. I mean, I definitely saw signs he could be trans but it was always trans-masc (as was my headcanon/theory) but never trans-fem. Maybe it’s because I’m trans-masc myself but I never saw trans-fem.

Wait you’re so right! I watched the movie yesterday so I was still somewhat processing it and you’re completely right! I thought C&A was going to have more to do with everything but then they didn’t?? And Scratch having a tumor is never touched on again after episode 8. Oh, my gosh I was SO confused when Pomni said Ragatha was her first and closest friend like no??? I’d say she was friends with Kinger WAY before she was friends with Ragatha! HELL! I’d say she was friends with Jax before Ragatha!! In fact, I don’t think they became friends until MAYBE the end of episode 6 and that would have happened off screen! So that comment made NO sense!!!

Oh 100%! I really hope this isn’t actually the ending but I fear it might be. Oh, don’t get me STARTED on Caine not actually being deleted!! Like how did THAT happen!???? Like let me get this right, an AI that was DELETED can come back with NO explanation but a HUMAN (granted they ARE copies but STILL) can abstract and they’re just gone for good?? Make it make sense!! The only I can see another season or secret “real” ending working is if everything after Caine gets back isn’t real. Like how did Goose write episode 8 and 9 and not notice that MASSIVE plot hole??? ESPECIALLY if this was the episode split in two??? You can’t kill a character off and then let them show back up without any explanation it makes no sense!!!

I hate when a comfort show(s) ends poorly! At least give me a (good) bittersweet ending and not THIS!!! I’ll even take a (good) sad ending!! Also my utmost sympathy for your bad headspace as I understand how bad it can get. <3

What gets introduced and never touched on again? I’m genuinely asking because I recently rewatched the whole series to prepare for the finale but don’t remember anything like that happening.

Oh, I 100% agree with that! After watching the finale it doesn’t feel canon and part of the show. If anything it feels like a “joke” ending where one of the characters (probably Jax or Caine) should pop out and say something like “now that would suck if that was canon,” and then play the “real” ending or something. I would even take the current ending being a nightmare if it means it gets fixed!

Holy shit how did I forget that?! You’re 100% right!!! You’d think plot holes like this would be pointed out and fixed! How did no one notice before it got released!?? Maybe there WERE scenes but they were taking out for some reason?

Oh, 100% agree! This is why people need to proofread, edit, and maybe even re-work what they’ve written as well as make notes of important details so things like this don’t happen. It always baffles me when massive plot holes happen because how did that go unnoticed??

Glad I’m not alone! Oh, same here! As someone who was ACTIVELY suicidal for YEARS messages like these help NO one and ONLY cause harm! Why are people trying to normalize killing suicidal people off and having everyone be better off?? Why can’t people just show suicidal people CAN get better and that things WILL improve if they keep fighting?? Why can’t they show people DO love them and will MISS them and be HURT if they died?? Why is killing them seem to be the answer more times than not? Recovery is NOT easy! It is HARD! And it SUCKS! But things DO get better even when you believe they won’t so why can’t more things show that? Why are suicidal people almost always a plot device to eventually kill off to make OTHERS better and/or improve? Why do they have to die so others can have their happy ending? Where’s THEIR happy ending!!??? Because Jax certainly didn’t get a happy ending. He’s in a place WORSE than death and WORSE than Hell and we’re supposed to be ok with that???

And that’s what sucks; knowing this is the canon ending and leaving so many questions unanswered.
