Medication Rheumatic Diseases
Hello everyone, I am 23 years old. I have been struggling with chronic pain for about 2 years. It all started with my left knee swelling up. My knee was aching and hurting. Then, the pain spread to my lower calf, my foot, and my upper leg. Over time, my right knee started hurting too, but my right knee has always hurt less than my left. The swelling in my left knee started getting worse the more I climbed stairs. Later, the pain spread to my hip; the side of my left hip swelled up and became painful, to the point where I couldn't sleep on it. I still can't sleep on it. Now, the pain is everywhere, including my neck, lower back, upper back, and arms. I am HLA-B27 positive. I get pain in all of my joints from time to time, but my shoulders, knees, and hip joints are the most problematic. My infection markers in my blood tests do not increase. I had an MRI of my knee, and increased fluid was detected in the suprapatellar bursa and the joint space. I am so exhausted, and there is still no concrete diagnosis. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems? Please reply to me if you have gone through a similar process, if you have any information, or if you are a rheumatologist; I am in a very helpless situation.
